The Club has installed and maintains many osprey nests along the Rideau River. These elevated nest platforms are located near water, offering our guests a room with a view to raise a family.
Often it takes a few years for a new nest site to be claimed; our most recent installation at Barnes Island appears to be home to a pair of ospreys, hopefully we will have some photos of the new brood after the hatch.
For nest locations check out the website http://www.osprey-watch.org/nests
